Dragging from an OutlineView

Ah, the programming keeps going and the questions keep coming. :P

I have searched the archives and looked at the DragNDropOutlineView example project, but I still can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. It's probably very stupid I'm afraid. My outlineView:writeItems:toPasteboard: method just isn't getting called. Is there some other method I have to call first to allow rows to be dragged from my OutlineView?

Sorry if this is a stupid question. I have the sinking feeling that it is but I can't find the key.
