Show hidden .files in open/save dialogs?

I have a NSOpenPanel in a sheet and I wonder if it's possible to make
it also show hidden files, or to be more specific: files starting with
a period (.initrc e.g.).
I've looked into the example App SimpleBrowser, but that's just within
it's own implementation (no NSOpenPanel there)...
Any help is greatly appreciated!
