what happened to option-double-click to see docs?

"Project Builder allows you to go directly from viewing code to viewing
documentation with a click of the mouse. While editing code, if you
encounter an API element whose documentation you'd like to view, simply
option-double-click on that API element."

What happened to this? I can't get it to work any more. If it has been
abandoned, the docs should no longer speak of it. If it hasn't been
abandoned, why can't I get it to work? Thx - m.

PS Command-double-click still works fine for me.
