I recommend BLAuthentication, <http://www.frognet.net/~lachman/>. It's basically a Cocoa wrapper for most of the functions in the Authentication Services, and it does give you the sudo-based authorization dialog. (What it doesn't give you is the lock button. You'll need to look around in some framework resources if you want to find the real lock pictures.)
