NSImage via current screenshot twist

I already have code working that captures the screen and creates an NSImage from it (using Carbon calls and NSBitmapImageRep's initWithBitmapDataPlanes method).

Unfortunately, I would like to capture the screen sans my window; i.e. I don't want my window to show up in the screenshot.
Anybody have any ideas? Where should I look?
