Thanks to all of you for your perfect advice: it just works now!
But... I haven't understood WHY I'd have to use the NSControl's
controlTextDidChange: method instead of the NSTextField's textDidChange: one.

Could someone be kind enough to give me a reason?
Since I tend to really appreciate to completely understand the whole process -
instead of just getting things work as they should (which is still great ;) !)
