Folks,

I just wanted to alert you to a new technote that just went live, explaining
how weak linking and the new Availability Macros help you write apps that
can maintain binary compatibility with older OS versions, even when you use
APIs that are only available in newer OS versions.

There have been questions about how these things work from time to time on
this list, so hopefully this will help answer your questions.

I don't see it cover this warning:

ld: warning dynamic shared library: /usr/lib/libSystem.dylib not made a weak library in output with MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET environment variable set to: 10.1

Is is not related?
