In Jaguar, use an NSProgressIndicator set to have that appearance (actually, though, in Jaguar, it is not chasing arrows anymore, it is a different graphic).

I think every one knows these tiny arrows rotating
to indicate that the application is in progress.
E.g. you find them in your Mail app.

Does anyone know how to implement such arrows?
