Autohide app

I have an application that I made in applescript studio. I want to update it so that it acts like the dock does when autohide is turned on. I want me application to be hidden in one of the edges of the screen, when you move your mouse there the application animates out exactly like the dock does, then when you move your mouse outside the application it hides itself. I also would like this to be able to appear even if it is not the frontmost application.

Does anyone have any idea on how to do this. Thanks in advance.
