What a funny coincidence- I ve been running into the same problem an
hour ago! In the archives, I have found the solution: you have to put
your icns into the rescource fork of a file called "Icon\r" where \r is
a carriage return. Hide this file and put it into the folder you want
to customize. Then just turn on the custom icon flag for that folder
(e.g. using FileBuddy or so). Ready
