Finding Preference International Languages

Greetings,

I have been localizing my program, using interface builder & localized.string for strings, but I have one question. Can the program be told what language the user is currently running under? Or what which of the localized languages the program is currently using? I need to know when my program is running in English, vs running in German or Spanish.
