Crontab/Scheduled tasks

Hi Everybody!

I am working on a project, that needs scheduled tasks. I thought about using crontab for this purpose, but I realized quickly that this is quite difficult. I mean setting crontabs from within cocoa. So, if somebody has done something like this, it would be really nice to help me.

So my first question is, if there are other possibility to run scheduled tasks with cocoa, without my app running all the time?

Second question is, how can I set the crontabs from within cocoa?

Third question is, if there is any possibility to know whether my was started by crontab or by the user?

Sorry, for my bad english!

Best Regards
Martin
