window loading sequence

Hi, I'm wondering if someone could please point me to a clear explanation of the order in which methods are called when a nib is loaded. After many false steps I've figured out that -awakeFromNib comes after -windowDidLoad, but I don't know how many other things there might be before/after/inbetween those two. I am rtfing all the m's and archives I can find but haven't hit on the right one yet. thanks
