Disabling NSButton programmatically?

  • Subject: Disabling NSButton programmatically?

I've created an Cocoa-Document application, but from within MyDocument's init method I can't seem to disable NSButtons programatically. In other methods they respond just fine, but not within init. I realize that I can just turn them off in IB, but what's the explanation for this? Is the NIB not loaded at the time MyDocument's being init'd?

Thanks,

Michael
