GCC 3.0/Darwin Wishlist

OK, having considered the things people said in the "optimizing compilers" thread, I have come up with a list of things I would like to see Apple implement in GCC 3.0/Darwin:

1) Generation of more efficient instructions, possibly borrowing from MrC
2) Automatic generation of AltiVec instructions
3) Vectorizing compiler or preprocessor, possibly arranging some kind of Lite version of VAST.

Can anybody add anything to my list? Thanks,

Owen Anderson
