OX-X WITHOUT classic has at least twice the number of memory resident
frameworks due to the need to support two legacies. Add the fact that Cocoa
applications are forced to call in and out of Carbon and Cocoa frameworks
littered all over memory and performance problems are expected.

Openstep provided a completely functional system without
Carbon ->ToolBox/Managers.
OS 9 provide a completely functional system without Openstep ->BSD/Cocoa

Now we have OS X that can not work without
Carbon+Openstep ->BSD/Cocoa/ToolBox/Managers all at once.
