Definitely. It has just one HUGE disadvantage compared to QD - all the
really powerful & interesting APIs are still private.



<RANT> Indeed, keeping the Quartz APIs private is one of the biggest bone-headed moves yet; another prime example of the short-sighted, shoot-yourself-in-the-foot imbecilic behavior we have all come to love from a company that does not seem to care about increasing market share. I guess they're afraid that someone will use Quartz to come up with something that's actually valuable, thereby reducing the lickability of the gee-whiz "genie effect." <end rant>
