What are the states that a bug submitted to BugReporter can be in ?
What do
the states mean ?
For example, I have a bug in state "Close" because it was a
duplicate. I
have another bug in state "Verify". What does that mean ?
It means somebody wants something about the bug to be verified. For
example, this state is common when they are moving your bug to "behaves
correctly", because there is a sort of check-back before the bug gets
closed in that case. The verification of whatever it is may make it
back to you (i.e. Apple may send you an e-mail asking you to verify that
the bug is a duplicate, or that it behaves correctly given such-and-such
fact, or that it can't be reproduced on the latest OS version, or
something like that), or it may not -- they may do the verification
in-house. Depends on how much they value your opinion, I guess. :->
How do I see the status of bugs that I have not filed ?
I think others covered this adequately: you can't, but you can hold
out a tiny flame of hope that someday in the future you will be able
to. ;->
