Well, as somebody written: unless a class re-implemented new to do something
different.

But I haste to add that so far as I wa able to grok NeXTStep/OpenStep
conventions in those 10+ years I use them, a class design where alloc/init
would behave differently from new would be *QUITE* broken!!!
