To be fair here, Ondra probably has an non-US keyboard. These do not
have the 'Option' written on them, they have 'alt' in the same place,
but have the Option symbol (as used in menus) in the place of the
'Option' text.
Nevertheless, I'd agree that the term 'option' is certainly not obsolete.

Since the key name's "Alternate", obviously! The name "option" is a
piece of
Classic, obsoleted now: just have a look at the keyboard, even it reads
"alt" (not "opt") ;)
