Directory Services vs. NSL

  • Subject: Directory Services vs. NSL

I have a client / server internet/intranet application. I'd like the server
to be able to register it's services and have the client be able to locate
the server via some directory service. I will have multiple clients and may
have multiple servers. What I'd like from the cocoa community is feedback on
what directory service they have experience with and recommend. It seems
that the two options are Apple's Directory Services API (LDAP) or Apple's
Network Services Location Manager (SLP). Any opinions on these directory
services ?

Thanks -

Alec Carlson
