forcing custom behavior

Hello, everybody .

By default an NSDocument application will always create a new document. I don't want that to happen (I have additional custom loading to do after, plus I want to display a "starting point" window in the beginning).

What should I edit to prevent the creation of a new document?

Thank you for your input.

Nick
