Right. Note you can click on Mail's chasing arrows even when they're
hidden, bringing up the activity viewer. Some might find this UI
questionable. :->
What about a TextField displaying information about a remote item that
is temporarily replaced with a NSProcessIndicator while that item is
being downloaded for analysis (item may be very large so a process
indicator is needed to give the user knowledge about the state of the
app ('yes it is working')?
