Event filters

Hi,

I am new to Cocoa programming and looking for something to a BeOS input_server filter. For those unfamiliar with the BeOS input_server, with such filters you can plug in to the event chain in order to create for example hotkey programs or just swap the left and right mouse button (just as simple examples). Is there a way I can tap the event chain in Cocoa? As a start, I'd like to write a simple program to map the <enter> key of my iBook to the right mouse button. Could someone hint me in the right direction?

Thanks,
Stefan
