I'm aware of that, but you've missed my point. I'll reiterate: regex
functionality is not part of the C standard, which was implied by the
post to
which I responded. There's a difference between "commonly available" and
"standard." That difference is significant in an environment where
rigorous
validation of components is mandatory.
None of which, sadly, answers the original question.
I believe though, that the MOKit (available via stepwise/OSX/Objectware)
has a regexp parser. That's not to say that it's any good - I've not
tried it - but it might be worth a try.
