Hello. Is it possible to make IB Info Panels for Custom classes that do
not inherit from the usual IB palette classes? More to the point, is it
possible to add functionality to the Info window so that I can set
attributes in IB for non-UI objects? I'm 99% that the answer is no, so
my follow-up question is: "When will I be able to?" and if the answer is
unknown, then I would like to know if it is under consideration or if
not, why not, and how do I request this functionality?
Alternately, is somebody (I remember something about this during the
summer) working on a tool that would do this? I'm not looking for a
visual programming tool, but I thought that this would be a nice way to
set up a bunch of non-UI nib objects. Otherwise I've got a long list of
them in the Instances pane and lots of connections, when I really want
them to be nice has-a instances visible as such the way subviews and
submenus appear in the Instances pane.
