I mentioned this once before in this thread, but after the message bounced
(because I sent it from the wrong email account) and then lost all the quote
indicators (because Apple's mail client stripped them when the message was
forwarded), I'm not sure anyone actually saw it...
GNUstep <www.gnustep.org> includes something called gnustep-db. I am not
familiar with it, nor with EOF/DBKit, etc. from the NeXt days. However, I
would be interested to hear from someone who is a) how it compares to the
NeXt stuff and b) how much effort it might be to get it running on OS X.
I have been working with the GNUstep version of the Foundation classes on
Linux, and on that front Apple could do well to adopt some of the GNUstep
extensions!
