First, this is not an NSView stuff, but an NSTextView one, rather. NSView is
a generic thing which has *some* graphical contents, nothing to do with text
at all.

There used to be a very nice one, bundled from Apple, based on the same code
WOBuilder uses, up to the Public Beta. Why they decided to trash the
excellent thing your guess is as good as mine -- just like they trashed, God
only knows why, an excellent low-level bitmap editor (named IconBuilder, but
useable for anything, not just icons) :((((((((

Anyway, add me please to your betatester list: I *GRAVELY* lack such a
beast, and should I have more time, I would already have written one
myself...
