Is there a C++ Complier option for ProjectBuilder? Also, are there any
books on using programming Cocoa using C++?
Unfortunately, Cocoa requires either Objective C or Java. Objective C is
a language which uses only dynamic linking and looks like someone took C
and SmallTalk and put them in a blender. You cannot use C++ and
Objective C in the same file,
That's abolutely NOT true. Please don't let this misinformation spread
again and again. You can use Obj-C and C++ in the very same file, that's
called Objective-C++. See:
/Developer/Documentation/ReleaseNotes/Objective-C++.html
on your hard drive.
The only thing to do for that is to suffix the file with .mm instead of
.cc or .m
If you already know C++, you can learn Obj-C in an afternoon, and use both
together easily.
