I am trying to figure out how to compose and send an email with an attachment to a specific SMTP server. A requirement is that the user does not need to have an email address.
Forgive a silly question, but without an address, where are you sending it ?
That's like trying to make a phone call without a phone specific number.
To make it work, you need to have an address inserted into the process somewhere.

NSMailDelivery works on my Mac, but it doesn't seem to work on a Mac with an internet connection, but no email preferences.

I have looked on news group lists, and Cocoa documentation, but find nothing. What kind of services or frameworks are available for Mac OS X development?

Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored.
