to the font. They are merely indices into the linear glyph data array
in TrueType sense.
Would there be any harm if Apple exposed and documented -[NSFont
_rawDefaultGlyphForChar:] which AFAIK just does the lookup of a NSGlyph
in a font instance and returns 0 if there is none ?
