Touch conditionally

Hi everybody.

Quite a problem here... when I try to compile the examples contained into
the /Developer directory I obtain this error:

TouchConditionally /Developer/Examples/AppKit/SimpleComboBox/build/
SimpleComboBox.app
/usr/bin/touch: /Developer/Examples/AppKit/SimpleComboBox/build/
SimpleComboBox.app: Is a directory

/usr/bin/touch "/Developer/Examples/AppKit/SimpleComboBox/build/
SimpleComboBox.app"

..failed TouchConditionally /Developer/Examples/AppKit/SimpleComboBox/
build/SimpleComboBox.app ...

What does this mean? Is it a problem of (damned!) permissions ? If so,
how can I resolve it ?
