Well, I wouldn't be surprised to see them start pushing it in colleges. NeXT was big in higher education, and with Apple's renewed educational vigor, Steve et.al. might decide to try it again.

Here's hoping... I'm in the same boat as you. I was a CS/CE major for a year, until I was talking to some faculty about OpenStep and Objective-C. "*What* - C?" they replied. Now that I'd confimed their ignorance, I changed my major to Music Education and was happy :o)
