I'm tempted to ignore the error but I'd like to know more about it. What or
where is CGSAddTrackingRect? Thx - m.

CGSAddTrackingRect is an internal function called to interact with the WindowServer. This, along with the rest of the Quartz Compositing (AKA CoreGraphics Services) API is not public. Please request that Apple opens up this API to the rest of the world, many of us would find it useful.
