It isn't easy. If you just "turn it on," it doesn't work right. Text undo
support is designed for a text view, not a text field.

I've written a section for Recipe 6 of Vermont Recipes that shows you how to
do it, but it's a little bit hackish. It should be up on the site sometime
during February.

Apple does have a bug report on this: "text fields don't support undo," or
something like that. I have no idea when or whether they'll actually fill
this hole, but I have corresponded with one of Apple's engineers about it.
