...should we not let those cosmetic thingies like public API for shadows (or
genie effects) be aside, and rather focus on Apple to bring back *IMPORTANT*
functionality, like EOF API, tearoff menus, ProjectBuilder plugin API, and
more similar ones?

Or possibly I am wrong and there is much more people who prefer having
lickable interface to the functionality, but it would be quite sad...

('Course I do agree we should aim to have both eventually; I am now ranting
about priorities, ie. since Apple evidently don't and can't have power enough
to do that all at once, to decide which now and which later.)
