sorry, but it is not: the best way to do that is Distributed Objects.
Conceptually, you communicate with those object in the remote task *IN THE
SAME WAY* as with the local ones:

Come on man!

If it's better or not depends on what you intend to do. If
you intend to write an application demonstrating sockets
then use sockets.

If you want to show how simple it is to do the same using
NSConnection, then use NSConnection.

Don't be so dramatic.
