selecting NSImage

  • Subject: selecting NSImage

I have an NSView that I am manually drawing an NSImage in. I can draw the image fine, and even draw a translucent drag image fine. But what I can't figure out is how to draw a "selected" gray NSImage the way an NSButton (and the Finder) does. Does someone know how to do this? As an alternative, I tried using an NSButton, but cannot get it to draw transparently (it has an NSImage view underneath it).
