stopping superview from responding

  • Subject: stopping superview from responding

Ive got a NSTextView which has its delegate textDidChange method handling
changes, but the problem is that its ultimate superview has a keyup event
handler as well and so when i type with the special keys that the keyup
event notices those actions are performed.
How do i stop the events from being resent out to the responder chain (or
detect that the text view is being edited)

thanks
warren burton
