Getting info about users on the system

  • Subject: Getting info about users on the system

So I can use getpwent() to get the short names of the users on a system but
how do you go about getting the long names, "kind" (i.e. Admin or User), and
the path to their picture? Is that what DirectoryService.framework is for?
The docs for that are kind of dense. Any example source code around?

Thanks!
John
