That's what I mean. I presume what happened was that when Apple
engineers were thinking about the API they decided to model it after
the Carbon Process Manager. After all, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Ummm... I doubt about that... osx is build on top of NEXTSTEP not MacOS.
And you could do all this with NS obviously, through DisplayPostScript
or something. This is not a "brave new world". This stuff has been
around for over a decade.
