Actually the book doesn't do this at all. :-)

It DOES use lex/yacc but for a standalone backend program (pure c from what I can tell)
that the cocoa application then interacts with via pipes..

The book IS very decent (although error prone a bit.. check the errata sheets
carefully!) on general ideas, etc. After going thru this book and the excellent
tutorial by Cheeseman (vermont recipes - soon coming to a book near you I hear)
I felt pretty good about the basic Cocoa stuff.. :-)

Now, one the Anguish/Buck/Yachman book comes out I feel I can jump from elementary school
to at least middle school! :-)
