Try talking with folks at Apple about what you are seeing and ask for
assistance, use a technical support incident if you have to.
One things to watch out for is are you asking the views/cells in your
scroll view to repaint themselves while scrolling. If you are this
defeats the use of hardware scrolling. You can get an idea by using
QuartzDebug to see what is getting flush/refreshed. As I understand it
if hardware scrolling is being used you should see only the areas
exposed/hidden refreshed or possibly nothing refreshed at all in the
scroll view (as QuartzDebug reports it).
