How many $35/year services have gone broke - you forget that these
services do not *only* offer $35/year services, but also offer more
heavy-duty services for users with greater needs, which will make them
more money to support the $35 services for the rest of us. And Apple has
already shown that they cannot be relied on not to stick you with
surprise price increases, so there's not much advantage here. And one
cannot trust the Apple services to be around for very long if one cannot
afford to keep paying the high prices...
The integration with Macs point is silly. How difficult is it to set up
an e-mail client to check POP-based mail or to connect to a server in
the Finder? If you really hate the "Connect to Server..." box, just make
an alias to the server and stick it on your Desktop or Dock or Favorites
folder or something. You could even use a macro program like QuicKeys or
Keyboard Maestro to map Command-Option-I to launch that alias.

integrate with your macs as well?
