Need help with PackageMaker/Installer

Hi,
I am building an installer with PackageMaker.
I need to be able to allow a user to install in a different directory
than the default, but I also need to know what directory that is in
order to run some post-install scripts. PackageMaker doesn't appear to
have a mechanism to do this (eg: set an environment variable that can be
later used in a script if a user has chosen non-default). Is there
anyway with PackageMaker/Installer to know what directory a user has
chosen to install in?
