Sherlock indexing of Frameworks

  • Subject: Sherlock indexing of Frameworks

We have found Sherlock very useful in finding information for our driver development.

However, we haven't been able to index /System/Library/Frameworks so that we can easily search for strings within the headerfiles under that portion of the file tree.

We have been able to log on as root and try to generate the index and it appears to do so. However, the index file is tiny, and it doesn't seem to have the contents of files indexed in it.

Sherlock seems to function correctly for other folders, though.

Is this a known bug? Maybe there's a reason it isn't working??
