To set bold/italic traits, you can use the
-applyFontTraits:range: method declared in the
NSMutableAttributedString additions in the Application Kit.
However, if you're working with a font that does not have an
italic variation installed on your system, I don't believe
you'll be able to display an italic version.
For setting underlined text, use addAttribute:value:range: with
the NSUnderlineStyleAttributeName attribute and an NSNumber with
a value of 1 for the value argument. This should work
regardless of the font you're working with.

I am trying to make cretin parts of it italic and underlined, but I
can't figure out how to do that. I used kind of a work around for bold
by using a bold version of the same font, but there is not an italic or
underlined version of the font I am using. Is there some sort of flag
that I can use? Can anyone help?
