Sounds to me like your documentation is *way* out of date.
After some more digging, I've found that the docs, under "Programming
Topic: Document Based Applications," still refer to hand-editing
CustomInfo.plist to specify document types and extensions, and refer to
a "future version" of Project Builder that will create the NSTypes list
for you.
Obviously, the docs I'm looking at are *way* out of date - PB has been
able to do that for a very long time now. But at the bottom of the page,
it says "last published February 20, 2002." The online docs say the same
thing.
Is this a known issue, or should I file a bug report about it?
