NSDocument with multiple WindowControllers printing question

If you have an NSDocument with multiple window controllers (so a
multiwindow document) and the user selects Print...
does the NSDocument still get the -printDocument: call? how do you
determine which window controller is active in order to set it's view to
the one to print?
