You can't do anything about that, if Terminal's preferences are set to
"Create a new shell window" on startup. I've filed this as a bug,
because all other applications I've seen that usually open an untitled
window on startup _don't_ if you launch them with a document, and my
app (whose entire purpose is opening .term and .command files) works
more nicely with this behavior.
